Nokia Comes To The Tablet Party

Nokia Comes To The Tablet Party

Remember the days when Nokia phones were the bee’s knees? All you wanted for Christmas and your birthday was the NEW Nokia phone with a green screen and a capacity to hold twenty messages, like this bad boy.

These days, every man and his dog wants an iPhone, and Nokia have been sliding down the ‘cool’ ranks ever since. But they might just have a little something to get them back into the view of the public. Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has hinted at launching a Windows tablet.

While Nokia had not formally announced a tablet computer, Elop said bringing one to market was something that the Finnish-based company was “clearly looking at very closely”, particularly around the 7inch size.

Elop used to be a Microsoft Executive, so it makes sense that Nokia create a tablet in partnership with Microsoft not Android.
