Caption editing on Instagram is finally here

The update we’ve all been waiting for! You can finally edit those frustrating typos instead of deleting your image and starting fresh!Today Instagram has announced a bundle of updates and improvements. In this update they’ve made it easier/faster to find people you want to follow. With this in mind, the Explore icon is now a cute wee magnifying glass and within it you will now see two tabs: Photos & People. In addition to this, after much request from the Instagram community, they’ve added the functionality to allow you to go back and edit captions on your posts. You’ll find the “Edit” option in the menu beneath your image.IGunnamedI just updated mine and it looks fantastic on the iPhone 6 Plus!Update 6.2 brings a few other updates;- Discover new people: Find interesting accounts to follow in the People tab on Explore.- Search faster: Get quicker results with the typehead search.- Edit captions: Fix typos or change your location.- New icons: Updated Explore and Profile icons, plus other design updatesInstagram for iOS version 6.2 is available today in the app store, and Instagram version 6.10 for Android on Google Play. To learn more about these new changes, check out help.instagram.com.
