2017 New Zealand Social Media Awards – Finalists Update

The finalists for this year’s New Zealand Social Media Awards were announced on the 28th of July and we wanted to keep you all updated! The event is set to be held on the 23rd of August, with some tough competition for the top awards in each category.

It will be a night to remember in Auckland City, with performances by some of NZ’s biggest online stars and a range of the finest local food and drink, all hosted by Kimberley Crossman.

And if you can’t make the actual event, don’t panic! It will be comprehensively recorded and shared online. The awards ceremony will be live-streamed via Facebook from a multi-camera shoot, while the red carpet and backstage will have a second hosted interactive stream.
