Online or real-world shopping? Tesco gives South Koreans the best of both worlds

A special series of posts where the creative slaves at FluffyLinks.com share their thoughts about what’s happening in the creative industry and beyond. You can check them out at FluffyLinks.com and @Fluffylinks "Research shows that many South Korean customers were focused on getting to and from work and felt they had little time for supermarket shopping. Homeplus created virtual stores in subway stations hoping to blend into people’s everyday lives" — We Love ViralNow there’s no excuse to forget the milk.Subway muggers also spoke highly of this new development. What makes this initiative truly remarkable is that it challenges the reasons why most people still prefer visiting physical stores, despite the convenience, time and money savings of online shopping. People want to see the products they're purchasing, they want to browse and they want the high of making spur-of-the-moment purchase decisions. This very cleverly gave people the best of both the digital and physical shopping worlds.  I'd love to shop like this - how about you?
