Facebook on film - The Social Network

A Social NetworkColumbia Pictures is making Facebook into a movie. Named "The Social Network", the film follows Mark Zuckerberg, creator of Facebook from his dorm room through to the empire the platform has become today. Based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires" by Ben Mezrich, the film is the 'unofficial story' and paints Zuckerberg in a poor light. The movie has also gathered an impressive production team, Fight-Club director David Fincher and West Wing writer Aaron Sorkin penning the script and has bumped another big movie off the production schedule. And who will be playing Zuckerberg? Jesse Eisenberg, a soon to be 27-year-old actor who so far hasn't had much international success yet.. Eisenberg's face is featured in the official poster for The Social Network with the tag line "You don't get to 500 Million Friends without making a few enemies" speaking to the criticism Zuckerberg has faced over changes to Facebook since its creation. If you would like to know more, you can visit the official site of The Social Network where you can also watch the trailer. Do you want to see it?
