Spotlight On: Snapr

In this video we interview the guys from Snapr. A Kiwi startup who has created an app that's all about close proximity photo sharing. Taking a cue from other location-based photo sharing services, Snapr allows people to keep track of their family and friends (and yourself) by plotting photos taken through the application on a map of the world - it's an awesome way to record and share a holiday or just keep track of what your mates are doing in town on a Saturday night.During our chat, the boys discuss their latest project Capture The Flag - an NZTE funded app that taps into the oh-so-hot gamification trend. Basically Capture the Flag is a game where people can join tribes and work together to ‘Capture the Flag’ at popular places by taking photos and checking in. Powered by Snapr and packed full of potential, we're excited to see how this project develops and will be sure to keep you all posted.Check out this "Spotlight On", let us know what you think and don't forget, we're keen to hear your suggestions for other digital innovation start-ups you'd like to see featured in this segment.
